Namaste and greetings from Namaste Community Foundation. This is the September edition of our newsletter and includes information about all the activities of NCF-Nepal for July, August and September. We believe that this newsletter will provide you with what has been happening for us in Nepal.
Before moving on with the activities of the organization, NCF-Nepal would like to thank all of its charity partners, supporters, well-wishers, and all of the stakeholders for providing such wonderful partnerships in our journey to serve people. We value and highly appreciate all of your support and anticipate more of the same in the near future.
NCF-Nepal is growing day by day and so has its work area. We have been serving people in need with our Children’s Home program, Scholarship program, Women’s Empowerment Center and Micro Support program. The following is the data which will clearly show the number of people who have benefitted from our different programs.
We heartily thank all of our supporters, charity organizations and individual donors for all of your financial and moral support to keep us moving ahead in this humanitarian field. Your financial support has motivated us to keep on moving but still we lack financial means. Especially after the earthquake, the whole scenario changed and many more needs appeared that needed to be addressed immediately. Of course, you have done a great deal for the organization but we still need to ask for more support from you so that we will be able to help more in need.
Currently, we are looking to reconstruct schools in different parts of Nepal that were demolished by the earthquake. So, if you would like to be part of this noble cause, please let us know.
Besides all of these, the two greatest festivals of Nepal, Dashain and Tihar is only few days away. So, in this auspicious occasion NCF-Nepal would like to wish you all wonderful people a very happy Dashain and Tihar.

Re-opening of Walk for Kids 2017
‘Walk for Kids’ was a program scheduled for October 2015 but because of some unexpected ‘technical’ difficulties, like the earthquake, the blockade and the avalanches in the Annapurna Circuit Area, this program has now been rescheduled for April 2017. Until now, 35.5% of the trek has been sponsored but 64.5% remains unsponsored. So, if you would like to be part of this noble trek to help the children for their schooling, food, shelter and health, please donate to the trek. Please visit http://walk.ncf-nepal.org/ for more information.
Organization's Need for Professional
We are getting numbers of volunteers from all around the world and we feel very happy to work with them very closely but, at the same time, we would like to have professional volunteers who can help us with fundraising. Currently, we are in need of volunteers who have special skills, are interested in fundraising and can join us to help the people in need. This is very much an essential part of helping to sustain the organization's ongoing projects and those immediate needs resulting from the earthquake.
We are also trying to create a different setup for fundraising where the people with special skills in fundraising can work together and can help the organization to move toward prosperity.
