Our “Walk for Kids 2018” – A fund raising campaign has been realized. We are very delighted to inform you that a long awaited trekking campaign has started on 10th February from our house at lakeside with lots of excitement and happiness. A group of 8 children with NCF Nepal’s team, campaign leader and his friend from Switzerland have started their journey for 5 days trekking in the Himalayas. Although planned for 2015, some circumstances like earthquake, undeclared blockade from India, avalanche in the Annapurna circuit area etc. has forced us to finally execute in 2018. The trekking will be completed on 14th February 2018 with the completion dinner at NCF Nepal.
The project aims to generate 50,000 euros for 2 years lacking fund, we are happy to share that around 30,000 euros has been collected and our donation is still open until end of February 2018. With your kindness and support, we are highly expecting to raise few more thousands or nearer to the targeted funds.
The 1st day has been started from our house towards the Peace Stupa (Buddhist Temple); where we organized a prayer for peace and well-being of all those involved and who have contributed or have been contributing to bring Namaste Community Foundation in this successful stage at World Peace Stupa in Pokhara, Nepal. The prayer was done along with a Japanese Buddhist Priest before starting 5 days Walk for Kids Trekking. Keep supporting our foundation’s good cause as our team is more determined to help even more children and people in need.
